Concert Reviews
Allerheiligen-Hofkirche, Residenz, Munich, Germany

Jonathan received an unprecedented 2nd invitation to the Residenz in Munich, Germany's unofficial piano capital in April, exactly a year after he made his highly successful debut there. The series featured just six selected pianists from around the world, Marc Andre Hamelin, Andreas Staier, Konstantin Scherbakov, Christian Zacharias and fellow Brit, Benjamin Grosvenor.

This is what the critic from one of the large national papers had to say:

"The Carnaval is a complete pianistic miniature world in its variety of moods and technical challenges. To interpret them, the individual pieces for themselves and the dramaturgical whole, requires pianistic greatness. Plowright has it."
